Permit Fees

Building Permit Fee Schedule

1. Residential $25.00 fee; Commercial $50.00 fee: for the review of building plans, due at time of applying.
2. Residential New Construction: $0.15 per Entire Square Footage (minimum fee $50.00)
3. Additions and Garages (sheds, carport, decks, accessory buildings or miscellaneous storage structures): $0.15 per Entire Square Footage (minimum fee $30.00)
4. Commercial and Industrial Development, New Construction: $0.20 per entire square footage (minimum fee $50.00)
5. Additions: $0.20 per entire square footage (minimum fee $30.00)
6. Other non-storage Structures (signs, billboards, windmills, and/or other structures.) Flat fee: $50.00
7. All swimming pool (contains 24 inch deep, in-ground, above-ground, on-ground swimming pools, hot tubs and spas) Flat fee: $25.00
8. Fire Inspection Fee: $50.00 per hour, where applicable, due at time of inspection.
9. Plumbing permit inspection fee schedule: minimum $45.00 which will include: (1) bathroom of three (3) fixtures; (1) hot-water tank; (1) kitchen sink; (1) washing machine; and (1) dishwasher. Include 2 visits, maximum period 120 days. Each fixture over the minimum additional cost of $5.00 additional charge beyond 2 inspections of twenty-five $25.00 per inspection to be paid in advance.
10. Commercial Construction: Formula Base Price plus Cost plus Extra visits.

    Cost per unit fixture will be $5.00 Number of visits allowed at no extra charge will be determined as the total charge divided by 40. Cost per extra visits over allowed visits shall be determined by the chart in sub-paragraph.

11. Water service connection fee $40.00 to public water source.
12. Sewer connections and Septic systems fee $40.00.
